ABOUT THE PRESENTER

Marshall Paquin, senior gardener, is an International Society of Arboriculture Certified Arborist. He has a master’s degree in Environmental Management from the University of Maryland University College and a bachelor’s degree in Urban Forestry from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. He has been with Hillwood for over fifteen years and during that time has been involved with the maintenance, construction, and design of the woodland path, Chauffer's House, the visitor center, the gardens west of the rose garden, and the lower and upper gate drive, putting green, and lower/upper gate entrances. He also strives to keep Hillwood’s trees as beautiful as possible by working with contractors to perform maintenance that meets or exceeds arboricultural standards. Before coming to Hillwood, Marshall was the owner of a tree care and landscape company for seven years.
